Arran & Toby, two of our most promising New Faces got picked for the show of demi-couturier Orschel-Read who showed his gorgeous collection at Vauxhall Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week. We predict great things for the boys in seasons to come!
Ada Zanditon showed her cutting edge, eye catching collection for the first time at On|Off, following two seasons with Vauxhall Fashion Scout. She combines interesting designs with sustainable practices, showing that it that eco can certainly be chic! Here is gorgeous Sam on her catwalk.
Naturally, being on the forefront of all things fashion & style, we are rather excited about this one... Dr. Manel Torres, an ex fashion student-turned-inventor has come up with the glorious idea of a spray-on fabric which envelopes your body like a second skin. Not quite available on the open market yet, watch this space, it may well be all the rage in years to come. Best of all, you can recycle the material as once you get bored of a particular style, you can break it down and start from scratch! From T-shirt to dress, to skirt and back to T-shirt. Relatively new to Vauxhall Fashion Scout are duo Romeo Pires, having just showcased their third collection during London Fashion Week. Our girls Antonina & Luiza modelled their outfits, inspired by French writer Simone De Beauvoir, here are some images.
Ozwald Boateng, the Savile Row tailor known for his use of colour has just celebrated an amazing quarter of a century in business this year. To mark the occassion he put on an extraordinary show at London Fashion Week showcasing 100(!!) looks on the catwalk. The show was part street-cast, part models and here is our guy Calvin strutting his stuff, looking super smart, don't you think?

So, we are highly anticipation the launch of new style mag SHEER, edited by Daniel Neale, rumour has it the launch issue is out on 10/10/10! To make you salivate even more, the team at GT ran a sneak preview, featuring one of the pics from the shoot with our boy Arran, donning the AW10 collection by (Stefan) Orschel-Read. If this gets you curious, make sure you get your hands on an issue pronto and check out the great shoots, you might find other Cosmic Models gracing the pages!
Having been fans of Jasper Garvida's work since his triumphant 'Project Catwalk' win a few years ago, we naturally were delighted that the chose a few of our girls for his SS11 show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout, with the gorgeous Kate opening the show and Antonina and Weronika also showing a few looks.

Well, not long to go and the global fashion cognoscenti will hit London again in their bi-annual circuit to preview the Spring/Summer 2011 collections (you know, this season we did last season... so get with it...). I can't wait for a waft of glamour to descent over London and mainly the area around Somerset House where most of the ready-to-wear shows take place.
Needless to say alongside international media & buyers, a stream of high-fashion, long-legged beauties are making their way into town too to grace the catwalks for the duration. So, we would like to welcome Antonina and Kate who have just arrived to join in the craziness that will be London Fashion Week!
